Registration for the 34th Annual National Organization for Men Against Sexism's Men and Masculinities Conference is now open. The SATF is organizing the conference for October 28-30 in partnership with the Portland State University Women's Resource Center. This year's theme is "Roots of Change: Men, Sex and Justice," focusing on the whys, hows and implications of engaging men in the primary prevention of sexual violence. The conference will feature a plenary addresses and workshops from noted national speakers Luoluo Hong (www.luoluohong.com) and Byron Hurt (www.bhurt.com), and additional workshops from Rus Funk (Men’s Work), David Lee (CalCASA), Lydia Guy Ortiz, Vanessa Timmons and many others. Over 30 workshops cover foundational trainings, discussions, and practical applications across five subject tracks: Campus Violence Prevention, Culture and Community, Engaging Men, Sex Industry and Youth Violence Prevention. We are excited to offer three days of quality of content and programming for a low registration fee of $150, or $75 for students. A limited number of scholarships are available as needed.
