Kenai Fjords National Park is looking for a student interested in working with Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and other spatial data. The person selected will support park operations by making maps, collecting field data, documenting existing GIS data, and managing and organizing spatial data. This is a Student Temporary Employment Program (STEP) position which provides an opportunity to gain experience working for the government in a job related to your field of study. We are looking for an enthusiastic and qualified undergraduate or Masters Degree student in the field of Geography, Natural Resources, Cultural Resources, Information Management, or similar field. This is an employment opportunity anticipated to last through summer 2010.
