Oregon AFS has organized a Salmon in the City symposium that will take place at the University Place (310 SW Lincoln Street) in Portland, Oregon on October 14, 2010. This one-day symposium will look at the impacts of urbanization on salmon and steelhead, how these impacts might be minimized or eliminated, and how fish will respond to restoration efforts. We have lined up an exciting panel of speakers to address the topics surrounding this issue.
