The GIS club at PSU will will be holding a colloquium on Friday, October 21st from noon to 1PM on the PSU campus in Cramer Hall room 413. This month's speaker is Janne Boone-Heinonen, a professor in the epedemiology division at OHSU, and she will be discussing the Cardia Study, which uses GIS to examine the relationships between healthy diets and fast-food availability. Refreshments will be provided!
