Position Description Works with and assists cultural resources program staff with creating and editing Geographic Information Systems (GIS) data for historic structures located in various National Park sites within the western United States. Duties include editing GPS and GIS spatial data and attribute tables, collecting GPS data using a NPS cultural resources data dictionary, and uploading spatial data into the NPS Cultural Resources geodatabase. Knowledge of ArcGIS and Trimble required. The majority of time will be spent in an office setting with some travel to the parks to collect historic structures GPS data.
