The ninth annual OSBEELS Symposium is quickly approaching and we will once again be hosting the College Student Showcase at this year’s event. Similar to prior years, we’re inviting all of our state’s ABET-accredited programs and student engineering and land surveying-related clubs to participate and showcase the great work done by students. We’re extending invitations to student clubs, research teams, campus organizations, and program ambassadors to join this event.
This year’s Symposium will take place on Friday, Sept. 13, at the Salem Convention Center. The event’s program will feature presentations on a wide range of engineering and land surveying topics. We’re planning on having the College Student Showcase event take place during the afternoon portion of the event. There is no cost to host a booth and lunch will be included. Our Board feels the showcase is a great opportunity for students to display their work, converse with professionals, and learn more about the work being done in our state. Students are invited to arrive early to set up their booths, enjoy lunch, and remain at the event following the College Student Showcase program should they wish too. Please let me know if you have a student group interested in participating! |
