The City University of New York (CUNY) GIS Working Group is looking to contribute to the COVID-19 response. We have identified four mapping-based projects that will meet urgent needs that have arisen as a consequence of the pandemic. The primary objective of these projects is to assist activists and advocates who are working on the ground to help vulnerable communities—e.g., those with food insecurity, housing insecurity, and incarcerated people.
If you have already responded, we request that you reregister. Our apology for the inconvenience, but the signup form for the COVID-19 related mapping projects was missing a field for entering your email address that would have allowed us to contact you.
If you have not yet responded, we invite you to have a look at the Project Descriptions and consider joining one of our teams!
The timeline of all of the projects is from now until the beginning of June. And the time commitment will vary depending on how many people join each research team.
