DOGAMI is recruiting for a student to work as a temp in our Mineral Land Reclamation and Regulation office in Albany. We need someone to help with our GIS data for the mine sites we regulate. The appointment would be for a total of 6 months’ time during a one-year period, with flexible hours. Monthly salary would be in the range of $2135-3150, depending on qualifications. Applicants should be fluent in GIS, and a background in geology or geography would be good but not essential. We are trying to move very fast with this to get in ahead of the pending hiring freeze, so it would be very helpful if you could distribute this to students and faculty quickly. Ian.MADIN@oregon.gov
