THE CITY OF LAKE OSWEGO
We are looking for an intern to work 20-32 hours per week in the GIS Department maintaining
the Surface Water Asset Utilities. Employee will be working independently in the field and in the
office collecting downloading and attributing Surface Water Assets.
Focus of Work to be:
GPS location of Surface Water Assets in the Field in sometimes difficult terrain.
Download field data, edit spatial location and add attributes to Surface Water layers
Identification of Type of Structures located.
Perform other GIS assignments
Specific knowledge of ESRI software programs(ArcMap, ArcCatalog, ArcPro).
Knowledge of Trimble GPS Units and software, experience with AutoCAD desirable or a
willingness to learn.
$13.00/hour – no benefits. Duration 3 to 9 months (based on 30 hours/week). Bus passes
