Smith College invites applications for a 12-month post-baccalaureate fellowship, with possibility for an additional year, in the Spatial Analysis Lab (part of the Environmental Science and Policy Program).
We seek candidates who are enthusiastic about applying map visualization, spatial analysis, and spatial data collection techniques across the curriculum.

Title: Post-Baccalaureate Spatial Analysis Fellow
Location: Northampton, MA Application
- Provide research, technical, and administrative support for the broad range of programs and activities undertaken by the Smith College Spatial Analysis Lab (SAL).
- Support activities include: developing curricular materials for classes and workshops using GIS and GPS technology, and working with faculty and students to assist with geospatial research methods in campus scholarship.
Additional responsibilities include documenting, maintaining, and acquiring spatial data, maintaining lab equipment and associated software.
DETAILS: The position is only open to recent graduates; the Fellow must hold a B.S. or a B.A. by June 2014, and have graduated no earlier than 2012.
