The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Portland District is recruiting for two part-time student positions.
The majority of the work under this recruitment will be scanning, georectifying and digitizing of historic real estate maps related to Corps of Engineers flood control and power generation facilities and populating a geodatabase of real estate information. Other duties may be assigned as needed.

Experience with ArcGIS software, geodatabase design, and vectorization of scanned maps is a plus but not a requirement. Appropriate training will be provided to a motivated candidate lacking prior experience.
This is a part-time position (16-20 hours per week) not to exceed 1 year with flexible hours to accommodate a student's class schedule. Students will have the option to work additional hours, up to 40 hours per week, during summer months.
$12.59/hour for undergraduates, $14.14/hour for graduates.
