Workshop | Nov 22, 2019 | 10:00-3:00pm
The GIS Club & ASPRS PCC Student chapter will be hosting a workshop on learning about UAS and it's application with the geospatial sciences. The workshop will cover the basics of flying UAS, flying demo, and an introduction into the software and analysis of data obtained through UAS.
Bryan Kilburn, UAS/GIS Faculty and GIS Lab Coordinator at PCC, will be teaching the workshop.
Please fill out the registration form below if you are interested in attending. The workshop will be 5 hours long, with time to break for lunch (will be provided). The workshop will be held at PCC - Sylvania in the GIS Lab (SS 110). The lab is equipped with 28 desktop computers. If you prefer to work on a laptop, there is space for you to set it up and connect to PCC's wifi.
The first 30 people to respond will be registered for the event. After the first 30 people register, I will keep a wait list and if spaces open up you will be contacted.
Thanks for your interest and hope to see you there!
