CAD Technician/Drafter
Pacific Community Design has an immediate opening for a CAD Technician to join our team. The CAD Technician will work under close supervision performing engineering technician work requiring basic technical knowledge utilizing electronic applications, standards and document control processes and procedures for the purpose of creating or modifying deliverables.

Responsibilities, Tasks, Authority:

• Address redline comments, drafting in accordance with PCD standards
• Develop familiarity by reading, understanding, and maintaining a working knowledge of standards, systems, document control, departmental guides, and PCD policies and procedures
• Ensure deliverables are accurate and compliant
• Produce drawings with efficiency and accuracy
• Actively seek to understand the project goals, scope, deliverables, expectations, and due date from the Project Manager

Qualifications:

• Associate or Technical Degree, or combination of education and relevant experience
• Proficient with AutoCAD and/or Civil3D
• Highly detail oriented and possess a basic understanding of architectural and construction drawings
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Clear written and oral communication skills
• Excellent organization, communication, and math skills
