Job Details Description The Eugene Water & Electric Board is seeking a GIS Analyst Senior to join a dynamic and growing GIS team. The GIS Analyst Senior will be responsible for accomplishing a multitude of GIS tasks at all skill levels. Tasks include design, analysis, reporting, cartography, requirements gathering, documentation, graphics, presentation, software installation, administration, and maintenance, publishing services, data management, web products, and scripting. This posting is open until filled. The GIS Analyst Senior requires complex problem-solving skills and must be able to solve problems otherwise unsolvable by other GIS Analysts. This includes coordination with vendors, local GIS partner organizations, and other resources necessary to achieve a resolution. The successful candidate will coordinate operational work, ensuring internal and external customer expectations are met by fostering relationships with GIS staff and business units. Expect supportive leadership as you use GIS to solve real-world problems to provide the best drinking water and electricity possible. Note: EWEB is modernizing its application portfolio which includes a migration to the ESRI Utility Network, web-based GIS, and a suite of Schneider ArcFM Software. In addition, GIS will be integrated with SAP systems such as customer information and asset management. Responsibilities:
Minimum Training and Experience Required: Minimum Experience: Six years’ experience in GIS. Education: Bachelor’s degree in information systems or other related business areas. Desirable education, experience, training and certifications:
Equivalency: An equivalent combination of experience and training that demonstrates the required knowledge, skills, and abilities may be qualifying. Post-offer background check required: Yes The starting salary for this position is $97,393.72 - $121,742.16 commensurate with knowledge, skills, education, and experience as it relates to the position. This position is based in Eugene, Oregon; however, it has been approved as a hybrid work arrangement involving a combination of telecommuting and working on-site; the selected candidate must live in the state of Oregon.
