The GIS Analyst delivers geospatial analytics across the entire energy system value chain, including the siting of renewable energy projects, delivery of energy efficiency programs, assessments of energy equity, and assessment of EV adoption rates. They are responsible for delivering high-quality GIS data and analytics to internal project teams and external customers. Reporting into the Director of GIS North America (Head of Section), the GIS Analyst will be responsible for undertaking geospatial data collection, processing and analysis, automating GIS workflows and producing thematic maps in the GIS section that is part of DNV Energy Advisory North America Analytics and Digitalization (A&D) Department. DNV is looking for a dynamic and rigorous individual that will be able to contribute to the company’s studies, reports and tools through well thought-out static or interactive mapping products, as well as to assist with gathering geospatial data and the automation of the workflows (programming).
