The Oregon Health Authority (OHA) and the Department of Human Services (DHS) together have launched a new COVID-19 Response and Recovery Unit (CRRU). The CRRU located in Portland, Oregon is recruiting for one (1) GIS Analyst position. What will you do? As a GIS Analyst you will support the Oregon Health Authority and Oregon Department of Human Services operations for the COVID-19 Response and Recovery Unit by identifying variables and trends around COVID-19 in different locations within Oregon using geographic information system methods. Activities will include creating programs that convert GIS information from one format to another, development of tools for loading or transferring data between different systems, liaising with GIS analysts in other sections of OHA, state and local governments, and external stakeholders.
