Weyerhaeuser has an exciting opportunity for a GIS Analyst to become a part of the Western Timberlands Inventory & Planning (I&P) Team in Aberdeen, WA. The Inventory and Planning team is responsible for forest inventory, harvest planning, GIS data management and mapping for approximately 2.5 million acres in the Northwest. It is a full-time, salary exempt position and reports to the WA I&P manager within the Western Timberlands organization. As it currently stands, it is expected that employees be in the office (primary or field) at least three days per week for teaming and support, with flexibility for remote work on other days.
Background You will be one of five GIS Analysts on the Washington Inventory & Planning team with a primary responsibility of supporting Weyerhaeuser’s Aberdeen Tree farm and other locations as needed. You will be expected to manage GIS data and provide direct support for forestry management activities on approximately 249,370 acres. To be successful in this role, you must possess strong organizational and communication skills and be able to work in both a team environment and individually. You must also be able to adapt to changing priorities and learn new concepts and applications quickly, as well as travel to regional field offices when required. Analysts work with Weyerhaeuser’s GIS forestry management system (FMS) as well as Esri’s ArcGIS suite. It is important for Analysts have a customer-oriented ability to assist in providing efficient and effective problem identification and resolution. Key Functions

Compensation: This role is eligible for our annual merit-increase program, and we are targeting a salary range of $66,703 - $100,055 based on your level of skills, qualifications and experience. You will also be eligible for our Annual Incentive Program, which offers a cash bonus targeting 5% of base pay. Potential plan funding may range from zero to two times that target.
