The Geographic Information System (GIS) Analyst is responsible for providing GIS services to external and/or internal clients. Work will primarily focus on supporting Energy (e.g., Power & Dams, Renewables, Transmission & Distribution), Mining and Oil and Gas projects. The GIS Analyst determines client needs and proposes optimal GIS and geospatial technologies and solutions to meet business needs.
Your Opportunity:This is an exciting full-time position working within our Energy & Resources business within Stantec. The selected candidate can be based either the United States or Canada. In the United States, preference may be given to individuals located near our Bellevue, WA; Boise, ID; Chicago, IL; Denver, CO; Fort Collins, CO; Houston, TX; Irvine, CA; Phoenix, AZ; Portland, OR; Salt Lake City, UT; or San Diego, CA hub offices. In Canada, our Calgary office locations would be of preference but open to all locations. Flexible (e.g., in-office, hybrid, virtual) work arrangements are available. The position will be joining an existing dynamic 11-person GIS group to support exciting projects across Canada, United States and extending worldwide.
