GIS & CAD Drafter w/ Actalent (Tigard, OR)

​Description:
Candidates will be assembling sketches and drafting facilities used for GIS planning for distribution poles and converting GIS designs into AutoCAD designs. The majority of this role will be working in GIS programs like ArcFM and ArcGIS Software will build out a build of materials list and will be inputted into their ArcFM and ArcGIS software. Heavy use of AutoCAD and GIS software supporting drafting and design production efforts. Working directly with PMs to support power utility joint use, remediation, maintenance, and new construction within distribution and transmission utility systems.

Will be creating 1 line diagrams and 2D designs listing pole measurements, cable lengths and vault measurements on underground and overhead pole designs

Additional Skills & Qualifications:
-6+ months minimum preferred of GIS drafting experience and/or 6+ months of CAD drafting preferably with AutoCAD
-No specific discipline is required but they will mostly be working with AutoCAD and GIS software that they will be trained on.
Ability to be coached and developed on PGE's Software packages, Maximo, ArcGIS, ArcFM, Microstation, Pole Foreman.
