The Washington Geological Survey Lidar Program is looking for a highly motivated, innovative, skilled GIS and data management professional to join our team. Lidar is big data at its best, and our team works on a wide range of tasks from project conception, collection, data quality assurance, storage and management, GIS solutions, data development, and distribution on the Washington Lidar Portal! This position will develop and publish data and GIS services, manage web-based maps and applications, use their knowledge of scripting and data management techniques to continue to innovate and improve our data distribution methods and help develop projects for bathymetric lidar and other advances in elevation data. Our small team is dedicated, dynamic, and nimble, keeping pace with an ever-changing technological landscape and helping our users navigate lidar questions. We’d love for you to join our group!
