Job Title: GIS Intern
Closing Date/Time: November 17, 2017 (extended) Salary: $16.00 - $22.00 Hourly Job Type: Temporary, part-time Expected Hours: 80-90 hours per month (20-25 hours per week) Duration: January 2018 – May 2019 Location: Salem, Oregon Department: Land Conservation and Development, Information Resources Internship Overview: Come support the state’s land use planning program at the Oregon Department of Land Conservation and Development (DLCD)! Put your GIS classes to use and apply for this internship! It is designed to allow one or two students the opportunity to gain practical experience. We are accepting resumes from students in a GIS Certificate Program or students working toward a planning degree with GIS experience/coursework from an accredited community college or university. Applicants may be undergraduate or graduate students, as well as, recent graduates that have completed their GIS Certificate, Associate, Bachelor, or Master’s degree in 2016 or 2017. This position is classified at the Information Systems Specialist 1 - entry level, and we encourage candidates who meet the minimum qualifications (MQ’s) to apply.
