The City of Enumclaw, Washington currently has a job opening for a GIS Program Administrator in the Information Services Department
 
Under the general supervision of the Information Services Director, the GIS Program Administrator oversees and facilitates the development and maintenance of Geographic Information System (GIS) platforms, systems, and infrastructure use by the City of Enumclaw. This position provides the timely delivery of GIS products and services, implements and maintains technical standards associated with GIS data and technology. 
 
This is a full-time position – Non-Union, Exempt 
The salary range is $7,503 - $9,228 
Benefits: Vacation, Sick Leave, Medical, Dental and Vision. Retirement through DRS and optional Deferred compensation available. 
 
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in GIS, Urban Planning, Civil Engineering, Geography, or a related technical field. An equivalent combination of education, experience, and training that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities is also acceptable.
• Minimum of 6 years of progressively responsible GIS work experience.
• Master’s Degree and/or industry certifications such as GISP or Esri Technical Certifications are desired but not required.

​LICENSES/CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
Possession of specific education, training or certification in computer systems, equipment, networks, or software in current use at the City of Enumclaw may be identified as minimum qualifications for recruiting purposes. Possession of valid Washington State Driver's License or evidence of equivalent mobility required. This position requires access to law enforcement criminal record information and candidates will be required to successfully complete a background check and fingerprinting as a condition of employment. May occasionally be required to respond to on-call after-hours emergencies, system outages or requests for assistance from end users.
