GIS SPECIALIST IN TRAINING
We are a professional field services company specializing in inspection and data collection of natural gas, water and sewer systems. Our operations center is utilized to perform high technology safety inspections on services of a combination of gas utility and drainage pipelines. The positions are consistent, year round, full time, non-construction employment using robotics, Trimble GPS, and other technologies. The majority of work will be in an outdoor environment and occasionally within a private residence. Training will be provided.
GIS Specialist (a/k/a CCTV) in training, performs:

• Maintain robotic televising and all other equipment in good operating condition
• Locate underground facilities using radio frequency locator
• Communicate effectively with the GIS Specialist, CCTV Operator, and the surrounding community
• Record information and location data using mapping grade GPS equipment

Essential Functions of the Job:

• Valid Driver’s License with a good driving record
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. routinely
• Must be able to walk 2 to 5 miles per day on various terrain
• Must be able and willing to work outdoors and perform manual tasks as well as collecting data entering data by the use of a tablet
• Must be able to work independently as well as with a team

• Mechanically Inclined; training will be provided
• Ability to complete applicable reports, records, and related administrative tasks, via a computer/tablet and software
