CLOSING DATE: Open Until Filled DURATION: 52 days (416 hours), three to five days a week ABOUT THE JOB: The City of Beaverton is seeking a Temporary GIS Technician within its GIS division with utility GIS layers editing experience to update and correct the spatial location and attribute of the gravity mains, manholes, and service laterals using engineering drawings, aerial photos, and scanned CCTV images. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB:
TO QUALIFY: Requires ability to demonstrate the proficiency through education, experience, and knowledge of the use of ESRI ArcGIS software specially in editing tools. Previous experience editing utility data, understanding of engineering drawing, and GIS data editing skills in multi-editing environment is highly preferred.
