​Parametrix, a 100-percent employee-owned premier NW engineering, planning, environmental sciences and construction management consulting firm, is seeking a full-time GIS TECHNICIAN to join our Portland, Oregon office. We are conveniently located in inner NE Portland, near the MODA Center and Lloyd Center, with transit and bike accessibility. We are offering a career opportunity for a team oriented, flexible individual with excellent communication skills to join our talented GIS team. The selected candidate will work with a team of GIS professionals to support internal and external clients with GIS deliverables. Anticipated work will include basic map production, data editing and management, as well as web map development using ArcGIS Online. The selected candidate will have an opportunity to learn while working on a wide variety of projects including but not limited to transportation and trail plans, asset management development, and renewable energy studies.  


This position requires the following skills: 
• Familiarity with ArcMap and ArcCatalog software from ESRI 
• Familiarity with ArcGIS Online 
• Interest in map production and web map development
