We are recruiting for a part time GIS technician to conduct analysis and assist in developing and maintaining applications. This person will assist in delivering technical training and will provide user support for applications, spatial data, and GIS use. This is a part-time position. The posted salary/pay range for this announcement is based on full-time hours; the salary will be prorated for part-time hours. The successful candidate may be required to work 40 hours per week, based on the agency’s business needs. What we need: One (1) year of information systems experience. OR An equivalent combination of experience/training. Driving is an essential function of this position. You must have a valid driver license and an acceptable driving record. We will conduct pre-employment driving records checks on our final candidate(s). Your license does not have to be issued in Oregon to be considered. Special qualifications: This is a part-time position. The successful candidate may be required to work 40 hours per week at peak times of the year, and, when the customer demand lessens, they may have their hours reduced to 20 hours or less per week.
