GIS/AutoCAD AnalystPORTLAND, OR $24 ‒ $33.50 Hourly The GIS/AutoCAD Analyst will join the Information Technology Services team and will assist GSI engineers, geologists, and related professionals completing engineering, remedial design, hydrogeological, and other technical services for our clients. Primary Responsibilities The duties below are not inclusive but characteristic of the type of work associated with the position. The selected candidate may do all or some combination of the duties listed below as well as other related duties. GIS – 70%
AutoCAD – 25% Candidate will work directly with engineers on 3D designs for environmental remediation and clean water infrastructure utilizing Autodesk software (AutoCAD Civil 3D). Project work includes development of civil layout drawings, dredge prisms, grading plans, roads, and remediation or water support infrastructure. Knowledge of cut and fill calculations, riverbank excavation and restoration designs, dredging and capping designs, water and water quality infrastructure design, and design of final grading is preferred. Development of contract drawings, field investigations, and support during construction are also important.
