Responsibilities:
We are seeking a candidate to fill a position in the graphics department at our Seattle/Issaquah office. GIS, CAD, data management and visualization, 3D modeling, site mapping, and environmental data presentation are all components of this position. Proficiency in ArcGIS Pro and CAD software is required for this role. An ideal candidate will have a portfolio that shows diversity in their work and shows a design aesthetic that is current with industry trends. Knowledge of 3D design software is an asset and working knowledge of the Adobe Suite is a major plus.
The selected candidate will primarily provide GIS and CAD support services to several different individuals and departments in a fast-paced consulting environment. The GIS technician will be expected to learn and become part of the consulting team for many facets of the environmental industry. The primary role of this position will be using ArcGIS Pro and CAD to create maps and graphics that utilize a wide variety of data sources to complete mapping and data analysis and presentation projects.

Requirements

• Experience with GPS or GPS/GIS data processing.
• Field data analysis and mapping; General geographic data creation and analysis.
• Query geographic data for information to be used in reports.
• Production of figures for reporting to clients and regulatory agencies.
• Production of large format display maps.
• 1 to 5 years of GIS and CAD experience.
• BA/BS from an accredited college or university in AutoCAD, GIS, cartography, geography, or related field is desirable.
• In-depth knowledge of ArcGIS Pro, ArcMap, and AutoCAD. Bonus points for working knowledge of Vectorworks.
• Working knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp (or other 3D modeling software), and Surfer (scientific mapping and analysis software) are a plus.
