This position works as directed by the Deputy Chief Information Office as part of a three-person team within the Applications & Development unit of the agency's Information Technology Division. The unit's primary focus and responsibility is to support and manage Geographic Information Systems (GIS) for the agency, customer support, project management, and creation of Geographical Information overlays and data used in its analysis. Duties This position's primary responsibility is to provide GIS analysis support to the Construction and Facilities Management Office (CFMO) Environmental Section where it receives additional leadership and guidance from the Environmental Program's Supervisor. Qualifications REQUIRED Bachelor's degree in Geographic Information Systems, geography, geographic information systems, remote sensing, land surveying, natural resources or closely related field that includes at least nine credit hours in GIS. OR An Associate's degree in Geographic Information System AND two years of experience in Geographic Information Systems software, cartographic principles, coordinate system transformations, and/or Data Interoperability or similar toolset.
