Interstate Bridge Replacement - Summer 2024 Internship
Parametrix is a 100% employee-owned consulting company focused on community building, environmental, transportation and water. Beyond our core services we have initiatives with climate, fish passage/salmon recovery, smart & livable communities, and strategic advisory services.
 
Our Interstate Bridge Replacement (IBR) Program is seeking a GIS intern for Summer 2024. These positions will be on-site in the project office in Vancouver, Washington. We are looking for a GIS intern with the following experience:
 

• Managing data and preparing maps using ESRI ArcGIS Pro
• Building web maps using ESRI ArcGIS Online

 
Interns can expect an opportunity to work on the IBR Program, which is a high-profile program and crucial infrastructure to the Oregon and Washington region. We also commit to solid mentorship, creating a connection with our other interns, and providing learning experiences outside of the project. We will foster a cohort environment so that you can build your network and connections and gain understanding beyond your role.
 
WHO YOU ARE:
Pursuing education in one of the following areas: Geography, Civil or Structural Engineering, Construction Management, Planning, Science, Survey, or another closely related field.
 
Curious and Enthusiastic: Interested in gaining experience supporting real world projects.
 
Relationship & Communication Focused: Strong people skills, collaborative approach, and great teammates. 
 
Flexible: Willing to support a large program and work with a variety of Parametrix employee-owners, clients, and project teams.

Parametrix offers competitive market compensation. The range for interns is $24-$30+ per hour depending on education, experience, location, and role.
