Land Survey Technician w/ i.e. Engineering, Inc. (Roseburg, OR)

i.e. Engineering, Inc. is seeking a full-time Land Survey Technician to join our team.  This position will be primarily office and computer operations, with the occasional need to lead or be a member of the field survey crew.

​Job Responsibilities:

• Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D software.
• Operation of Total Stations, GPS equipment and survey support equipment.
• Skilled at Cadastral survey calculations, together with topographic, boundary and Cadastral survey platting and drafting.
• Knowledge of construction layout and ability to create field stakeout data.
• Write legal descriptions.
• Perform ALTA/NSPS surveys.
• Completion of Elevation Certificates and LOMA’s.
• Professionally communicate with team members, clients and the public.

Our ideal candidate will have LSIT certificate or be working towards certificate with the goal of becoming professionally licensed.  Candidate will also have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.  Demonstration of problem-solving skills, good written and oral communication skills and working as part of a multidisciplinary team will be necessary.
