Do you have high standards for customer service? If so, we are looking to fill a Conservation Strategy GIS Analyst at our Headquarters office in Salem. You can fish 365 days a year, and there is hunting for big game, waterfowl and game birds. Working Conditions • Requires extended, daily use of personal computers to type, analyze, and summarize data. Occasionally requires overnight travel. Also requires occasional long hours and situations involving tight deadlines, meetings, interagency negotiations, and problem resolution. Requires the person to remain current on GIS software applications. • This position has been designated as sensitive in that the incumbent in this position has access to information, the disclosure of which is prohibited by state or federal laws, rules or regulations or information that is defined as confidential under state or federal laws, rules, or regulations; or has access to tax or financial information about individuals or business entities. • Requires a flexible work schedule that varies in the number of hours worked on a daily basis, but not necessarily each day, or a work schedule in which the starting and stopping times vary on a daily basis, but not necessarily each day.
