Internships are paid, and include a housing allowance and a strong professional development component through webinars and a final week in the DC area to share experiences. Interns will be involved with the support of populating the National Bathymetric Source (NBS). Data from the NBS will in turn be used to rescheme NOAA's nautical charts, and the intern will work with PHB's product team lead in high priority areas. This data will be curated and repackaged for ingest into the NBS and re-published for public dissemination at NOAA's National Centers for Environmental Information (NCEI).
