Project Surveyor – Professional Land Surveyor 1 Highway Division - Region 2 Salem, Oregon CLOSING DATE/TIME: 09/28/17 11:59 AM SALARY: $58,260.00 - $86,040.00 Annually ODOT's Survey Unit is responsible for surveying land needed for various highway, road, and maintenance projects. We are recruiting for a project surveyor who will represent the unit on project development teams and perform professional survey work to develop highway centerline alignments, right of way lines, and boundary resolutions for the preparation of maps that are filed with counties for horizontal control, recovery, retracement, and monumentation surveys. This person will perform survey research and analysis to determine property boundaries and ownership and will determine project footprints necessary to support project construction and maintenance and then write property descriptions describing those areas. The project surveyor's decisions affect the accuracy of highway alignments, right of way locations, property boundaries, and produced maps. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
