Announcement: ODOT18-2667oc Remote Sensing Surveyor – Professional Land Surveyor 1 Highway Division – Technical Services and Engineering Salem We are recruiting for a remote sensing surveyor to join our Engineering Automation Section – Geometronics Unit in Salem. This position works with the lead remote sensing surveyor to acquire LiDAR scan data and aerial photographs. This person leads a team responsible for preparation of point clouds, mosaics, planimetric/topographic maps, and digital terrain models used in support of transportation improvement projects. Duties & Responsibilities
Qualifications, Required & Requested SkillsCivil Engineering Specialist 2 Minimum Qualifications (Under-fill Option): A bachelor's degree in civil engineering, geomatics, surveying or transportation-related engineering and two years of civil or transportation-related engineering or surveying experience; OR Five years of civil or transportation-related engineering or surveying experience. One year of this experience must have been independently planning and completing assignments; OR An equivalent combination of education and experience. Professional Land Surveyor 1 Minimum Qualifications: A valid professional land surveyor (PLS) license.
