Working alongside the team to provide research support to a team of real estate advisors. This includes organizing a platform of comprehensive commercial real estate market data, partnering with marketing to present materials to win new business, responding to inquiries from advisors, and training advisors and staff on how to use research resources. The Research Analyst collaborates with the marketing team and partners with advisors to develop materials to inform clients about the market in pitches and regular touchpoints. What you bring •At least 1-3+ years’ experience in a research, market analysis or related role (commercial real estate preferred) •Bachelor’s degree in a related field (Business, Economics, Geography, etc.) •Excellent written and verbal communication skills •Advanced knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook) •Strong analytical skills and experience using a research database (such as Real Capital Analytics, CoStar, or LexisNexis) Bonus skills and experience •Experience in ArcGIS or other GIS software is a plus What success looks like •You will collect and organize diverse real estate information and data from a variety of sources including news stories, conversations with advisors, and research databases. Share collected information with relevant parties throughout the offices •You can track market activity using internal and external resources. Provide company and industry research using on-line and in-house resources. •You will write quarterly market reports and other summaries of market information for potential clients •Assist advisors with listing presentations by participating in planning meetings and providing market analysis, statistics and direct research support •Train advisors and staff in use of research applications such as Costar, Real Capital Analytics, and proprietary database tools •You thrive in a fast-paced environment, where you can use your amazing multi-tasking skills to meet tight deadlines with uncompromised ethics/integrity. #LICB1 BE who you are and what you want to be with Colliers International.
