More About the Job: As a Senior GIS Technician within the Division of Assessment, Recording, and Taxation, your role would be to:

• Create and maintain cadastral and geospatial data and map products from drawings, plans, datasets, and recorded documents while researching and reconciling complex deed and survey ambiguities and conflicts.
• Design, develop, and maintain GIS applications, databases, queries, scripts, models, and reports to meet specified needs and organizational strategic goals.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance within the group and the division with an advanced working knowledge and application of related Oregon Revised Statutes, as well as State of Oregon Digital Cadastral Map Standards.
• Support and contribute to the local and state GIS cadastral community.
