Summary
The Global Production Senior Photogrammetrist technical position is responsible for an array of tasks including driving development initiatives, collaborating with team members within Operations and other departments. This role contributes support to complex remote sensing topics, issues with products, occasionally meet with customers in a technical role, addressing a variety of quality and technical questions. Also, this role will participate in accuracy testing, stereo data, determine product and ordering impacts, processing issues, and document review. This position participates in a wide range of development and operations activities, both within the team and in support of other departments. This includes, but not limited to these teams: Supply Chain Management, Remote Sensing Sciences, System Engineers, Sales, Product Quality Working Group, QC, Product Verification/System Engineering, and Customer Service.

Responsibilities

• Serve as subject matter expert in the areas of photogrammetry and image processing
• Work independently in a project-driven operations environment
• Provide occasional support off of normal business hours as required to support 24/7 production operations
• Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements

• BS or Master degree desired in a Geospatial field
• ASPRS Certified Photogrammetrist, or ASPRS Certified Mapping Scientist/ Remote Sensing
• Understanding of satellite imaging systems and image processing
• Understanding of large-scale numerical computational algorithms
• 7+ years working experience as a photogrammetrist
• Currently hold or ability to obtain US Government Secret clearance
