Survey Crew Chief w/ HIWA (Bend, OR)

Hickman, Williams & Associates, Inc. (HWA) is currently seeking an experienced Survey Crew Chief to join our team in Bend, Oregon. We are a civil engineering, surveying, and land use planning firm established in Bend for nearly 37 years, specializing in private land development and public improvement projects. ​Job Summary:
This is a full-time position working primarily in the field. The successful candidate will have the ability and technical skills to work independently in the field functioning as a 1-person crew. Typical responsibilities will include:

•        Construction staking and calculations
•        Field collection of topographic survey data
•        Boundary surveying and monumentation
•        Processing and managing survey data

The ideal candidate will be familiar Trimble GPS and robotic field equipment, Trimble Access field software, Trimble Business Center, or be willing to train with the Trimble equipment platform.
The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:

• 2+ Years of land surveying field experience.
• Valid driver's license.
• Proficient with robotic total stations and GPS, preferably Trimble.
• Ability to work both independently and as a team player.
• Good organizational skills.
• Good note-taking skills and hand-writing.
