WSP is currently initiating a search for a Multi-modal Transportation Planning Intern for our Portland office for the Fall quarter, with the possibility of extending to the Winter quarter. Duties and Responsibilities: -General planning support, including data collection, research, and documentation -Assist in geospatial, statistical, and operations data -Contribute to the development of statewide and regional transportation plans, corridor plans, transit plans, feasibility studies, alternatives analysis, community outreach materials, planning reports, environmental documentation, and other analyses Talent is the essence of meeting our client’s objectives, goals and challenges. Minimum Qualifications: -Current standing as a Graduate student actively enrolled in a Planning, Public Policy, Economics, Environmental Studies or other relevant Graduate program -Knowledge of planning, public policy, engineering, and/or political science -Experience with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint -Strong technical writing, analytical and communication skills -Detail-oriented with an emphasis on quality work products -The selected candidate must have the ability to work in the United States immediately.
