Position Summary The Vegetable Crops Research program is recruiting one student who will assist the program with analysis of aerial photography for plant protection.The BES intern will assist with organizing and analyzing the images and comparing the images to visual indications of plant stress in the field. This recruitment will be used to fill one part-time (a maximum of 20 hours per week) Student technical positions for the OSU-North Willamette Research Center at Oregon State University (OSU). Position are located at the North Willamette Research and Extension Center (NWREC), Oregon State University in Aurora, Oregon. Position Duties 100% of duties will consist of in collecting, organizing, analyzing and recording data and digital photographic images. Assisting in visual plant health ratings Minimum Qualifications

Preferred (Special) Qualifications Experience with GIS, digital photography analysis, data entry, data management skills Working Conditions / Work Schedule Work schedule during school varies depending on school schedule and NWREC operating hours Work during breaks and harvest season typically begins at 8 am most days and will generally be done by 4:30. Occasionally we ask that students stay longer to finish a task, but work will not exceed 40 hours/week during the summer and 20 hours/week while school is in session.
