Frutas y plantas de Colombia (por Hugo)

Hola Clase!

Hi Lukas,

I think you can write more than that my friend! The photos are nice - thank you! Did you see me on the motorcycle? That was on my birthday. Please show Adam the pictures and let him know that I miss you guys! Are we still doing F-b Democracy?

Ciao!
Hugo

Hi Hugo,
This time I'm pretty sure I can write more. And yes, I saw that motorcycle. It was sick! I'll try to tell Adam about the pictures. By the way, what's the FB Democracy? I hope to see you again another time.
Adios mi amigo!

Hi Lukas,

Gracias, el moto estuvo increible! I think Adam would like the pictures if he saw them. Oh, FB Democracy is a YouTube channel that we were thinking about doing magic tricks and songs, like the coconut song. I was playing soccer at the Plazoleta today and got pretty hurt. Got a big slam dunk on my knee and elbow. Can you send me pictures of Oregon? I am kind of forgetting it.

Ciao,
Hugo Franklin Friedle

WOW I'm loving your blog posts and the pictures are amazing! I can't believe that is a picture of a pineapple, it's so different than the ones we have here in the States! Have you seen the inside? Is it pink? It's too pretty to eat (though it's one of my favorite fruits). Can't wait to visit!

Hi Aunt Danielle!

The pineapple is too pretty to eat - you don't actually eat it! It's just for decoration. But, it's a real plant. Do you like Orchids? We went to the Jardin Botanical today and saw orchids and HUGE iguanas! I'll show you some pictures. I didn't know you were going to visit us - that is going to be fun.

Ciao,
Hugo

Hola Tia,

We went to the zoo. There was a couple of owls. We saw a little bit of snakes. We saw jaguars. We saw monkeys, some small ones. We saw one with a baby on her back and the mom landed somewhere and started snuggling the baby. We saw a lot of birds and a couple of butterflies. Go to the zoo yourself if you want, we are not going to tell you everything!

Hello Hugo! Who's motorcycle is that? Those pineapples look weird. How's the apartment?

Hi Beatrice!

That motorcycle is mine (jk - just kidding). Don't insult the pineapple of Colombia - it is beautiful and that is just the way it grows. It's pink and pretty. The apartment is great. It's even better than our house.

I'll show you pictures of HUGE iguanas and orchids.

How are you doing?

Ciao,
Hugo

How is Colombia?

Well, Colombia is pretty good. Where we live is peaceful, but you go just a few blocks it's pretty loud. Colombia has some really cool museums in it. At the Zoo, there are animals that I doubt any of us have seen in our zoo. There's some pretty birds out in the wild that I really like. One of the birds is dark blue, light blue, and a little white and I think it's super cool. Can you send me some pictures from your dance recital?

Ciao,
Hugo Frankin Friedle

How are you doing? How many people have you met there?
In Science we are studying plants and flowers as well.
We are growing corn, tomatoes, sunflowers, beans and Nasturtium.
So what's happening in Columbia? What else are you learning?
How are the professional soccer teams doing in Columbia? Are they on a winning streak?
From your class in Portland..
