What’s the Opportunity?
Do you have a passion for the environment and Geospatial Science?  Join our national Geospatial Science Team as a Geospatial Analyst to help us provide reliable and accurate geospatial solutions for employees and clients – all while working in a challenging environment with a fun and diversely talented team.
 
Responsibilities:
As a Geospatial Analyst, you will support projects across the country as a member of our national Geospatial Science Team.  Applying GIS to collaborate with our various Practice Areas, which include Engineering, Environmental Sciences, and Natural Resources, you will have the opportunity to share your experience and grow with us around the application of GIS in a range of interesting and challenging projects.  The position entails the following:
 

• Working in a fast-paced environment that involves organizing and prioritizing work with tight deadlines and managing competing priorities.
• Supporting our Geospatial Sciences Team on projects with cartography, data management, spatial analysis, and Enterprise GIS, as assigned.
• Cultivating a friendly, supportive, and fun work environment through open communication and teamwork within and external to Anchor QEA.

 
What Are We Looking For?
Ideal candidates will have the following:
Required:

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in a field related to the environment.  Experience may be substituted for education for exceptional candidates. 
• Demonstrate 1 to 3 years of progressive experience of solving problems and visualizing data, using Esri’s ArcGIS Desktop Suite and/or ArcGIS Pro.
• Demonstrate critical spatial thinking and attention to detail in work products.

Preferred:

• Experience with one or more of the following: ArcGIS Enterprise/Portal and ArcGIS Online, FieldMaps; Survey123; VertiGIS; Image Server; and/or SQL Server Geodatabase management.
• Familiarity with EQuIS or other enterprise environmental database systems
• Experience in environmental, engineering or natural resources consulting.
