 Position Description
Manage all aspects of electronic survey data collection in support of agency-wide initiatives and comprehensive assessments. Responsible for the programming and development of survey instruments for mobile devices; the pilot, refinement and support of electronic surveys; quantitative data collection and analysis; and supervision and training of survey support staff in the use of hardware, software and data collection techniques. Requires collaboration with the business units to identify requirements and formulate survey questionnaires; collaboration with Information Technology on all technical aspects; management of resources and budget; post data analysis and reporting functions; and data management. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: We are looking for individuals with the ability to be successful working independently, as well as in a team setting. The ideal candidate is self-motivated with excellent decision making and problem solving abilities, computer proficient, and has an interest in GIS and remote sensing. An understanding of geospatial concepts and GPS survey methods is desired, but not mandatory. Though not required, experience in the following areas is greatly desired:
