Copperhead Environmental Consulting, Inc. is seeking a GIS Analyst to have primary responsibility for mapping and spatial analysis activities required for regulatory and research projects in the wildlife and environmental fields. Projects will include, but are not limited to, bat surveys, vegetation delineation, habitat assessments, water resources, and wildlife ecology research. Salary range: Salary contingent upon education and work experience. Anticipated Start Date: April – May 2013 The Skills, Knowledge and Abilities We Seek Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in GIS, cartography, computer science, geography, or other GIS related field OR a GIS certificate from an accredited institution with a minimum of three (3) years of related professional experience. A minor or emphasis in Environmental Studies/Natural Resources is a plus.
