Innovate!, Inc. is seeking a highly motivated individual to join its geospatial solutions team as a 
GIS Analyst. Our team is seeking well-organized, self-directed applicants who have experience 
with the ArcGIS suite of desktop and server software and web-based ArcGIS Online, performing 
spatial analysis and creating cartographic products. Additionally, and most importantly, 
experience providing geospatial and policy-based technical guidance through preparation of 
written standard operating procedures and best practices guidelines is required. 
 
You will be responsible for working with a core team to manage large and small GIS projects 
involving: 
 developing and documenting workflows, guidelines, standard operating procedures, 
best practices, and training materials that reflect geospatial use cases and policy 
requirements and presenting thoughtful, relevant, visually appealing webinars based on 
these materials, 
 assisting with outreach supporting ArcGIS Online for Organizations subscription to 
encourage data discovery, service usage, map authorship and collaboration across a 
diverse user base, 
 assisting metadata stewards with creating and publishing metadata by following 
appropriate policies and standards, 
 collecting, processing, analyzing, and mapping national, regional, and local geospatial 
databases using ArcGIS Desktop. 
Your role will also include thoughtful and productive interactions with customers when 
conducting requirements gathering meetings for geospatial projects.

Core Qualifications 
 Bachelor’s degree in GIS, geography, computer science, or related field. 
 Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal skills. 
 At least 3 years of experience with Esri ArcGIS Desktop and ArcGIS Server. 
 At least 1 year of experience with ArcGIS Online. 
 Experience performing GIS analysis. 
 Ability to efficiently implement new technologies and work independently and with 
initiative.
