Now recruiting for a GIS Field Technician! Under the direction of Public Works, the GIS Technician performs technical and field work to support the Public Works department. The position performs a variety of basic to advanced duties including data collection and maintenance, creating maps, and working with web-map applications. Work requires knowledge of spatial data, geodatabases, documentation, data research, data reconciliation techniques, and maintenance of GIS data in an ESRI enterprise system environment. This position coordinates extensively with the Information Technology Team.
