INR is involved in a number of projects related to rare species, vegetation mapping, natural resource planning, and data management. Our staff includes ecologists, botanists, zoologists, GIS technicians, and modelers, often working with other local, state, and federal agencies. The Database and GIS Support Technician will provide technical support to our projects, which may include writing database queries; building tables, forms, and reports; and editing and processing GIS layers. A background in environmental science, geography, or a related field is strongly recommended. Work will take place at our office in the Science and Education Center. Flexible schedule for working (within normal business hours) and wages will be related to experience. We would prefer 10-20 hours a week. Required Skills:
