Train to gather and analyze spatial data from a variety of sources for internal business partners. Data sources are either Kroger proprietary databases or external sources. Research where the best source of data is, conduct the appropriate analysis and report the analysis using charts, graphs, spreadsheets and/or maps. Projects involving areas, such as merchandising and marketing, have a high impact on the growth of the company and its subsidiaries. Projects require use of sophisticated and complex software and tools. Process improvement skills are essential as resulting analysis provides recommendations for action. Analyst will be encouraged to learn advanced statistical skills necessary for advancement to the top levels in the department. The position requires a high degree of collaboration with coworkers within and outside the department.
