This week the world celebrates Valentine's Day. The holiday has origins in the Roman festival of Lupercalia, which marked the coming of spring with fertility rites and beer. On Februray 14th, 1859, Oregon became the 33rd state in the union, also commemorated with beer.
So, join us on Wednesday evening to celebrate in the fashion of our ancestors and have a beer (or other beverage of your choice)! We will meet at Produce Row Cafe (204 SE Oak St) which has Happy Hour pricing through 7 pm. Early birds will stake out a table on the covered (and heated) back porch by ~ 5:30.
